The Salvation Army and The Kaufman Fund Partner in 2024 to Support Veterans
To help veterans and their families deal with food insecurity, The Salvation Army will partner with The Kaufman Fund’s Food for Vets program for several food drives in 2024. The organizations have worked closely together to assist veterans' needs throughout Greater St. Louis.
The first food drive of the year took place Saturday, February 17, at the Ferguson Community Empowerment Center, providing meat, canned goods, fresh vegetables, and toiletries to veterans in need.
The event serves as a vital resource for hundreds of registered veteran families experiencing food shortages. Participants are asked to register in advance by calling 314-200-5520 or visiting www.thekaufmanfund.org.
