Salvation Army Joins Forces with Hardee's Rise and Shine Event to Support Heat Up St. Louis
The Salvation Army will participate in the 24th annual Hardees' "Rise and Shine for Heat" this Friday, February 9. This important event raises crucial funds for Heat Up St. Louis, ensuring that St. Louisans can stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Staff and volunteers from The Salvation Army will be present at select Hardee's locations around the Greater St. Louis area, acting as greeters and raising essential funds for the initiative. Hardee's customers can get a sausage or egg biscuit sandwich for a special price of $1.00, and 100% of sales will go to Heat-Up St. Louis and its partners.
Heat Up St. Louis, a prominent non-profit organization dedicated to helping vulnerable individuals and families in the St. Louis area, focuses on providing financial assistance for utility bills during extreme weather conditions. The funds raised during the Hardee's Rise and Shine event will directly contribute to this cause, enabling Heat Up St. Louis to continue its mission of keeping residents safe and comfortable in their homes.
"Partnering with Hardee's Rise and Shine event aligns perfectly with The Salvation Army's mission to meet human needs without discrimination," said Major Adam Moore, Metro St. Louis Area Commander for The Salvation Army. "By joining forces with Heat Up STL, we can raise vital funds that will directly benefit St. Louisans, ensuring they have access to essential utilities to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter."
