The Salvation Army St. Louis Headquarters remains committed to Doing The Most Good for our neighbors in need, especially now as we all respond to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
CORPS COMMUNITY CENTERS / SOCIAL SERVICE SITES
The Salvation Army Emergency Social Services offices will remain open to offer these essential services;
Food Pantries: Food will be pre-packed in bags or boxes to minimize person-to-person contact. Locations have transitioned to outdoor drive-through/pick-up or door pick-up for food boxes. Click here for detailed information on our locations.
Meal Programs: Locations that offer hot meal programs have transitioned to grab and go meals in packaged containers that can be picked up at the door.
Emergency Financial Assistance: Utility and rental/mortgage assistance is by appointment only. Contact your closest Salvation Army site to discover if funds are available and to make an appointment.
Emotional and Spiritual Care Hotline: For individuals who would like prayer or well-check please call our hotline at 1-877-220-4195 open 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST, 7 days a week or submit your prayer request here.

Volunteer: To become an Emergency Disaster Services volunteer please visit the National Salvation Army EDS website.

Donate: The Salvation Army is supporting your local community during COVID-19. Please help us by donating to our COVID-19 response efforts.
SHELTERS
Salvation Army Shelters will remain fully operational. Safety plans have been established to meet the needs of each location. Arrangements have been made to separately house residents who are symptomatic and to implement social distancing where possible.
MIDTOWN SERVICE & TREATMENT CENTER
Treatment services will continue normal operations, though visitors will be restricted for the time being. Arrangements have been made to separately house in-patient clients who are symptomatic and to implement social distancing where possible.
VETERANS’ RESIDENCE
Housing services will continue normal operations, though visitors will be restricted for the time being. Safety plans have been enacted to ensure the well-being of transitional and permanent housing residents.
THRIFT STORES
As stay-at-home orders change for both Missouri and Illinois The Salvation Army Thrift Stores has adjusted hours of operations.

Chillicothe: Monday - Saturday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Columbia: Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Walnut & Parkade locations)
Hannibal: Monday - Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Jefferson City: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Joplin: Monday - Saturday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Limited shoppers) Accepting donations Monday - Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Kirksville: Monday - Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
