St. Louis Surge's Toy Drive for The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program

The atmosphere at the St. Louis Surge basketball game against Wisconsin GLO was electric, and amidst the cheers and excitement, there was a greater cause at play - the spirit of giving and spreading joy to families in need.

At the game fans were invited to donate toys and gifts to The Salvation Army for its yearly Angel Tree program that brings joy to thousands of children in our community each Christmas.

"We are delighted to support The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program," said Kalin Hall of St. Louis Surge. "Our team and our fans take great pride in giving back to the community that supports us throughout the season."

The Angel Tree program, a beloved initiative by The Salvation Army, touched the lives of thousands of local families during the previous Christmas season, bringing smiles to children's faces and providing essential items to those facing tough times.

Majors Adam and Deannie Moore expressed their heartfelt gratitude, commending the team and their fans for their incredible generosity.

"We are most grateful to St. Louis Surge, their players, fans, and the entire community for supporting the Angel Tree program," Major Adam said.

"Last year, thanks to help from our community we brought joy to 5,303 children and their families during the holiday season. We aim to touch even more lives this year through Angel Tree and our General Assistance program. The Salvation Army is here to support our community every day of the year."

The partnership between St. Louis Surge and The Salvation Army exemplifies the power of a united community, working together to uplift and empower our community together.

"The support from our community makes a huge difference for Angel Tree as it does for all of our programs and services throughout the year. We are immensely grateful to St. Louis Surge for their support, and we invite everyone in our local community to consider supporting Angel Tree this year. This will allow us to bring joy to even more families in our community this year," said Major Adam.
